Description
Offered is a pair of framed stipple engravings on wove paper engraved by Francesco Bartolozzi (Italian, 1727-1815, "historical engraver to His Majesty" ) after original drawings by Hans Holbein. One is a portrait is of Edward Stanley, Earl of Derby published on Nov 1, 1793. The other is a portrait of Queen Anne Boleyn and was published June 1, 1797.

Condition Notes: The engravings are in very good condition. The mats are embellished with French lines, which have rubbed off in some areas on the Edward Stanley engraving. The frames also show some wear (knicks and chips in a few areas).
