18th Century Theirry Poncelet (b. 1946, Belgium) portrait of a Yorkshire Terrier as a Lady. Portrait shows a Yorkshire Terrier head with the body dressed in Victorian clothing of a black long sleeved dress with lace collar and cuffs. Poncelet is well known for his whimsical dog portraits. His dogs seem to embody human personalities. Poncelet's paintings are exhibited at leading galleries and sought after throughout the world. Painting is framed in gold frame.
