In 1949, the well known Romanian-born artist prepared this small sketch of his friend Wilhelm Kempff, who was himself a famous mid-century German classical pianist known for his skilled performances of works by Beethoven. This is a lovely small portrait prepared in Paris by a well known artist of a well known classical musician.
