Stunning portrait painting of a black & tan Doberman Pinscher male dog depicted in a standing "show" pose with cropped ears. He is set against a landscape resembling the American Southwest, complete with red rock formations and distant mountains.

This painting is so well done that I took my jeweler's loop to try to determine if it was a watercolor, oil or acrylic (and not a photo, print or litho.) I can see light textured brush strokes.

Signed on the lower left by artist, S. Hubbell 05.

The framing is exquisite & costly. The thick distressed wooden frame has 2.50" wide x 1.50" deep, a 3" linen liner, a thin gold inner liner & is covered in glass. It is ready to hang with wire and hooks on the back.
