Walnut, pewter top with iron handle, dovetailed case, shaped base, marked on the handle "W.W. Weaver". The front, above the drawer, is stamped "Warranted" with a punched date of "1851". Drawer is nailed. Excellent early form and rare to find both signed and dated. It is supposed this maker was working in Manheim Township in the early to mid-19th-century. 8 1/2"H x 7"W x 7"D
