A lot of two antique silver pill boxes with ornately designed hinged lids.
1. A round box with a sculptural design of two cupids reading a book beneath the trees. Floral designs on the sides and marked with 800 and other hallmarks on the bottom. The lid has a mirror on the interior, Probably German circa 1920's. Width - 1 1/2". Weight - 32 grams.
2. A shaped box with a design of lovebirds sitting on a flower, facing each other. Unmarked but 800 silver or better. Probably Dutch circa 1920's. Width - 2". Weight - 30 grams.
PROVENANCE : Private estate collection - New York City.
CONDITION : Good condition, with wear and tarnish as shown in the photographs.
