This lot features two mechanical brass clock movements designed for weight-driven banjo clocks. Both components are two-train movements configured for timekeeping and strike functions. The movement on the left is constructed with polished brass plates and visible gear trains. The movement on the right possesses darker, patinated brass plates and includes an attached paper tag handwritten with 140 00 / BBH. Accompanying the movements is a single pendulum consisting of a steel rod and a circular, brass-encased bob. The face of the pendulum bob is stamped with the numerals 1831. Both movements are missing their dials, hands, and mounting hardware.
