Original Signed "Iris at Daybreak" and "Iris at Dusk" Woodcut Silkscreen by Daniel Goldstein, 1980. These original color woodblock prints feature embossing by American artist Daniel Joshua Goldstein, b.1950. They are hand signed, titled, dated and numbered ed. 33/100 (both) in pencil by the artist.

About the artist:
The woodcut of Daniel Goldstein are created with plates that fit together like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. A print was made after each piece of the plate had been inked separately in its own color and then reassembled. Many of the details are the result of selective wiping of the inked surfaces and the use of different types of ink rollers and varying pressure. The work of Daniel Goldstein is held in private and public collections, including the Brooklyn Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco and the Oakland Museum of California.
