Description
This mid 20th century oil on stretched burlap portrait of a female nude is by San Francisco North Beach artist Martin Snipper (1914-2008). Snipper studied at the National Academy of Art In New York and exhibited at the San Francisco Art Museum's (later to become SFMOMA) annual exhibitions. He was Director of the San Francisco Art Festival and Arts Commission.
