Contemporary Mendocino/Bay Area artist, Gaetan Caron (b. 1964), co-founder of Lost Art Salon in San Francisco. "Growing up in Quebec, there was nothing I enjoyed more than spending my summers at our nearby lake. My mother would always provide a pique-nique we would eat in the shade of the beautiful white birch trees surrounding the lake." Gaetan captures most of his images in nature while traveling or in the surroundings of his off-the-grid home/work studio located in an heirloom orchard in the Mendocino hills of Northern California, a stone's throw from the wild California Coast. His work documents the textures, colors, forms, as well as monochromatic shadows and reflections found in nature through contemporary abstract, botanical, still life, landscape, seascape and portrait Fine Art photography. Produced in six size formats.
