We are selling this very nice miniature portrait. This portrait, probably French but possibly American, is of attractive young lady in very elaborate dress with feathers and flowers. The back of the labels it as Lady Frances Digby, but comparing that to the 18th century portraits of Lady Digby we are fairly certain it is not her, she was a brunette in the paintings.
