"Atomic Cock", as this piece is titled, combines a large rooster with mid-century Atomic styling and the saturated colors of pastels all to great effect. The large white Leghorn rooster bends to peck at the verdant grass, shades of blue highlighting his body and contrasting with his red comb; to bring the Atomic Age feeling, a background of even black dots and straight lines below combine with a bright green splash of color underlining the chicken, starbursts sparkling brightly where bird and background intersect. Beautifully executed by a local Florida artist, signed Graff and dated to 1990. This piece has been matted in shiny silver with matte black border and framed in a simple silver colored clip frame with wire to hang.
