Description
California artist Benjamin Allen Harnett (1873-1945) was born in London and moved to the San Francisco area before the turn of the century. His landscapes are primarily the Redwood forests and the hills, valley and bays around Santa Cruz and San Francisco. He later moved to Northern Virginia, painting there and in New England.
