We are selling this pretty American Tonalist oil painting of a landscape. This landscape features a dark road through a few trees with a luminous sunrise or sunset. The painting is signed lower right R. Mygatt 1911 for Robertson Kirtland Mygatt (1861-1919). Mygatt was a member of New York's Art Students league and painted around New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

Condition: Painting has been re-lined and could benefit from a cleaning, it is as found in an estate. Frame has some damages and losses.
