When I first saw this gem of a painting, I thought it was a photograph. Then I looked at it very closely to find that close up, it has the look of an abstract painting! I just don't know how artists can imitate reality this closely with nothing but areas of color - never ceases to amaze me. Anyway, it is painted with oil on a glossy paper stock - so when you get it framed, I would suggest having them add a backing and frame it just as you would a painting on a stretched canvas. It has a signed mat with it, and originally was behind glass, but I would personally lose the mat and frame it just like a typical painting. You can also give it some impact with a sizable frame.
