Description
An American Art Deco bust designed by Geza de Vegh (1905-1989) for Lenox (formerly the Ceramic Art Company) of Trenton, New Jersey, dating circa 1930s. The stylized portrait busts of woman was designed with delicate features and elongated necks resting atop square pedestal bases in a high-quality and translucent off-white porcelain. It display well on a piano, console table, or mantelpiece. This piece in very good, undamaged condition. On the base bears a green printed factory mark consisting of an "L" enclosed in a wreath over "Lenox" / "Made in USA."
