Description
Beautiful sterling silver compote with very unusual, pierced rim. Made by the Elgin Silver Company AKA El Sil Co. of USA. The compote has a weighted base and reinforced rod. Compotes are wonderful to use on charcuterie trays for nuts, olives, grapes, candy, etc. This compote has a nice height of 6.5" and a deeper bowl than most. Silver is in good condition & polishes up beautifully.
Makers Mark is stamped on the bottom of footing and with the sterling mark.
