A French faience armorial sauce boat made by Alcide Chaumeil, circa 1880 - 1890.

Hand decorated with a French heraldic crest, fleur de lis, and the customary border, the boat is fixed to a bottom tray.

Glazed in vibrant colors, a rearer piece..

A faint age line to the interior of the boat, a teeny flea bite on the footing rim, more felt than seen.
