Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown bi-color with gold flecks Italian art glass bowl in amethyst purple and pink. Attributed to designer Alfredo Barbini, circa 1950-1960. It made with half transparent glass, and the other half a solid color. The bowl is profusely covered in gold leaf, and has an attached gold stem. The shape is that of a calla lily flower or a heart. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, candy dish or jewelry dish. Mid-century era. Measure 6 3/4" long x 5 3/4"" wide x 2 1/2" high.
