A bright and colorful group of Indian Tree pattern porcelain, for display or use, comprised of 2 scalloped plates, ca. 1900, by esteemed English porcelain manufactory founded in the 18th century, Coalport. Coalport is the original source of this popular pattern, which continued to be made into the 20th century. These pieces combine transfer decoration with handpainted colors and details along with gilded highlights. These are accompanied by six later round matching transfer plates with gilt rims made by a different English porcelain laker, John Maddock and Sons, ca. early 20th century.
