Pair of Crewel Work Embroidered Pillows

Description

A collectable pair of crewelwork pillows with embroidered floral motifs on a soft, pale, bluish-gray linen, framed and inset with embroidered trim banding, double welt boxing, filled with plush feather-and-down inserts.

Equally special is their story, once belonging to today's tastemaker and art collectors Carolina and (ex-husband) Ian Irving. Carolina is a renowned textile designer, Creative Director of Home for Oscar De La Renta, former Editor at Elle Decor, House and Garden, and Vogue Living. Ian is an internationally known master in English and European silver, also known for his exceptional taste, expertise and style. As a Curator and Interior Designer, these are the unique qualities I seek - knowing it will transcend time, always in style, never trendy.
