Unique Japanese Arita-Imari five-cup and saucer set, Celadon Porcelain, with Display Cabinet in Lacquered Wood. These Cherry Blossom (ume) shaped cups are used in Japanese Tea-Houses.
Saucers are used for serving Wagashi (sweets) during Tea Ceremony. Beautifully hand-ornate decoration in over-glaze enamels, in the five colors of genuine Imari pottery: red, yellow, green, purple, and dark blue.
Lacquered wood display case makes the set more appealing and striking. Nonetheless, functional as it can be a kitchen cabinet by itself. The Japanese art pottery makes an excellent housewarming gift, wedding, or anniversary present. A conversation piece-set for inside your neoclassical interior decor.
