This is a very old antique Chinese enameled brass tray / saucer dish. At one time it may have had a matching teacup. The enamel work is exquisite and includes the Chinese characters for double happiness.

A scarce and lovely Asian collectible, the small dish could be used a catchall tray on a dresser for jewelry or, simply displaced as a decor accent on a home office desk or living room coffee table.
