C. 1770 Antique Bow Porcelain Tea Cup and Saucer With Hand Painted Designer Mark
Demitasse Cup Size
Hand painted porcelain, decorated with foliage and berries in purple and nature tones. The porcelain is so thin that when held up to light it can be seen through.
Markings: cup and saucer, both have hand painted black under glaze, designer and year marks. The marks are raised and can be felt under the finger. The cup also has an incised O mark, possibly for the year of manufacture.
