The mid-century modern table lamp with globe-shaped shades on a chrome base speaks of clean lines, minimal aesthetics and elegance of the mid-century modern period, 1950s - 1970s. The lamp that is so iconic of the period features a round chrome base supporting five slender pillars from which support white glass globes, two hanging and three standing in various heights. The composition is elegantly spaced, works well with the minimalist furniture styles. A silver band is on the mid section of each globe. They are well placed accents that add interest to the overall design.

The light switch is located on the chrome base. It has three settings, the first turns on the three short standing globes; the second turns off the three lower globes and turns on the top two hanging globes; the third turns on all five globes.

Some assembly is required, due to the fact that the globe shapes have to be taken off the lamp for safe shipping. To put the globes back is easy. Each globe is held by screws.
