Beautiful French made Taittinger's Champagne pewter double magnum champagne chiller. Made in France in Pewter by the ancient celebrated tinsmith company 'L'Orfevrerie d'Anjou' (created in the reign of Louis XIV), the slim and elegant ice bucket can hold 4 or even 5 bottles which gives a fan-shaped look. Additionally the boat shaped design has a glossy pewter finish, an oval shaped body on footed pedestal, with a linear pattern throughout with the Count Thibaud IV medallion and Champagne Taittinger in black lettering, on front and back. It also has Lucite tented shelf that sits close to the bottom with 2 pegs to hold bottles up. t is in gently used condition with minor scratches throughout, just needs a good polish. There are no dents or major damage and I have given it a light cleaning. Overall it's in great condition! The Maker's hallmark is on the underneath of the base- ETAIN (Pewter) and the Orfevrerie company symbol.
