Antique, second half of the 19th/very early 20th century. Indo-British, Thai or Southeast Asian, intended for the European market
Measurements: Approx. 13" tall overall x 9" deep x 7.5" diameter of the back plate
Weighs about 952 grams or 2 lbs. 1.5 oz.
Condition: Very Good overall. Please see photos below. All original. Silver parts exhibit beautiful noble patina, developed over time. The ostrich egg has a crack as pictured and small pieces missing at the joint with the base. Of course, with simple tooling, it can be replaced or repaired. Displays exceptionally well nevertheless!
