Description
Looks like you are missing something special in that corner of the room. This fabulous boho-chic or mid-century modern jute + ceramic ceiling-mounted planter/pendant might just be what you need. This is a far out specimen of the late 1960's or early 1970's where a ceramic pot and pendant light were both thoughtfully integrated into very beautifully-aged jute macrame.
The ceramic pot - likely for an indoor plant because it has no hole in the bottom - is suspended at the bottom of the woven jute fibers then at the top the macrame, is in turn, hung from an inverted ceramic vessel used as a pendant light that matches and illuminates the pot below. For a better highlight effect on the plant below, a 'par lamp' will likely be better than the bulb we used for the picture.
The pendant is connected to aged brass chain approximately 126" long and the electric cord, which is interwoven in the chain, is approximately 142" long. The length listed in the dimensions is from the top of the ceramic pendant to the end of the jute tassel. Enjoy!
ps: Dimmable l.e.d. bulb included
Condition:
Alterations: Original Condition Unaltered
Imperfections: Some Imperfections
Condition Notes: Ceramic is in very good condition; The jute is aged but is in good condition commensurate with it's age. Electric cord is original with 2-prong plug and mini cord lamp switch wired to a medium base socket all in working condition.
