Bradex "Ruslan & Ludmilla" plate.
This was the very first plate created for the Russian Legends collection.
Plate number 2079, made in 1988.
These highly collectible plates were made with sometimes as many as 17 layers of colored pigments on top of the deeply black porcelain, embellished with 18kt gold.
On the back is written in Russian (see photos for translation) describing the piece and its production.

I was unable to choose the Soviet Union (or Russia) for country of origin so I put unknown.
