AMERICAN "FOUR PATCH" VARIATION PIECED QUILT, hand- and machine-stitched, 113 four patch blocks completed in polychrome print and woven fabrics, each set in an on-point block consisting of green print and solid orange fabrics, all-over diagonal-line quilting, back-over-front binding, four-paneled floral print fabric backing. First half 20th century, some fabrics probably earlier. 80" x 84 1/4".

Fair to good overall condition with some very good areas, top with scattered stains and toning, some fabrics with fading, some scattered holes / tears, binding with several holes and tears, backing with toning and stains, also having small holes and tears mainly along edges.
