WICKER-WRAPPED DEMIJOHN / UTILITY BOTTLE, dark olive green, probably four- or five-gallon size, wrapped in woven wicker with two twisted handles at shoulder, flat-sided globular so-called "kidney" form with sharp shoulder and short neck, large applied tapered mouth, concave base. American or European. Mid 19th/mid 20th century. 18" H, 15" WOA. 

Property deaccessioned by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Williamsburg, VA. All proceeds to benefit the collections acquisition fund. 

Bottle visibly undamaged, with frozen cork stopper and just some exterior residue/grime; wicker covering having some losses and heavy age-related cracking.
