Antique Egyptian Revival, hotel sliver rectangular covered entree dish featuring an ornate sphinx figure as the handle. Ornate scallop and beaded detail round the rim. Beautifully made and in excellent condition. Assumed to be Mappin & Webb circa mid 19th century, 1850-1870. 11"x 8"x 5"
