Pair of English Regency framed ormolu portrait plaques of St. Paul & Socrates
Exceptional quality and casting, beautifully framed with convex glass.
Each plaque is mounted in a circular mahogany frame with a gadrooned border and convex glass, The circumference of the medallions is 6", the portraits measure approximately 5" H x 3.5" W.
The plaque of St. Paul is after a model by Jean Warin (1604-1672)
The plaque of Socrates is by an unknown sculptor.
