This is a fabulous set of 4 luncheon plates in the shape of pears with wonderful quality, designed by Ernestine Cannon and manufactured in Salerno Italy. Cannon was a very influential ceramics designer during the second world war. She started her business as a response to poverty she saw in Italy at that time.
