Description
A Russian Imperial silver-gilt and glass plique a jour style panel fitted between two reticulated layers vanity or powder compact box marks for Faberg?, workmaster Michael Perchin, St. Petersburg, circa 1890-1903. The interior retains its original fitted cosmetic contents by the historic French perfumery Houbigant. Marked with the Cyrillic initials 'MP', alongside the Faberg? marks, stamped with the 88 zolotniks (.916 fine silver) hallmark. Overall weight 125grams including blush powder L. 3 1/8in x W. 2 1/4in (7.8cm x 5.6cm)
