Made from 75mm steel shell recovered from the explosion at T.A. Gillespie Loading Plant, Morgan N.J. October 4, 1918. The Gillespie Plant was the largest shell-loading plant in the U.S., and the blast was the largest non-nuclear explosion in history. It killed an estimated 100 individuals, and left acres of the surrounding area in ruins. 6-1/2" wide x 16-1/4" high.
