This vintage Allstate by Lionel No. 9544 HO Scale Relay Racing Set is being offered as found. The dimensions are 22 x 10 x 4 1/2 inches. The completeness of the set is unknown. Included is the original box, which is in poor condition with significant wear, tears, and stains. The set features four 1/87 HO scale slot cars, which include two Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coupes (one blue, one beige), one blue Mercedes-Benz convertible, and one beige Porsche 356 coupe, the latter being a body shell only with no chassis or motor. Additionally, the Mercedes-Benz convertible is missing its interior piece. There are track pieces and white guardrails, but we cannot confirm if the set features the 'over 22 feet' of track as claimed on the box. The original scenic background is mostly intact with some bends. A Lionel 'Racemaster' transformer and two hand controllers (one red, one blue) are included, but their functionality is untested. Instruction sheets are also present, albeit showing signs of aging. This multi-component set is ideal for collectors seeking display pieces, parts, or restoration projects.

After the auction you can checkout two ways: Pay the invoice via Live Auctioneers/Proxibid or pay via the Lodestar Auctions website. Credit card fees apply both ways. 2.9% & $0.30 (4.4% & $0.30 international) through Lodestar Auctions and 4-5% through Live Auctioneers/Proxibid . Lodestar Auctions collects 7% sales tax for Illinois residents only. Live Auctioneers/Proxibid collects sales tax for most states. Check with them for sales rates for your state. Any unpaid items will be automatically charged by Live Auctioneers/Proxibid three days after end of auction. At checkout pay for the item only, shipping will be billed later. Shipping:


Pick up and buyer arranged shipping is always welcome. We offer in-house shipping for items that can ship through common carrier. All items will be professionally packed at a reasonable rate. If you paid for the item via Lodestar Auctions or Proxibid we will have your items packaged and send you a link to choose and pay for shipping on the Lodestar Auctions Website.

**Important** Live Auctioneers has their own shipping program. We find it to be very expensive and slow. This is the rate you see advertised when bidding. We do not recommend using them. If you do use them you must checkout via Live Auctioneers and choose LiveShip at checkout. If you pay via Live Auctioneers and want our In-house shipping you must choose self-arranged shipping at checkout. If you checkout via Lodestar Auctions this does not apply. I apologize if this is confusing, Live Auctioneers purposely arranged it this way to push their own overpriced shipping service. We are not happy about this and are trying to make it work.


Issues:

All items sold as is. We do our best to describe accurately and take plenty of non-touched up photos to best represent the item. Any lost or damaged item due to shipping must go through the carriers. Buyer pays any return shipping costs regardless of situation.
