This lot includes a Strombecker Dirt Track Racer slot car kit. Box dimensions are 11 x 7 x 2 1/2. It looks like an unbuilt kit along with a partially built kit. The completeness of the kit is unverified. The original box shows significant wear, including edge wear, corner bumps, and surface scuffing. Inside, you'll find two yellow plastic car bodies; one is partially assembled with chrome exhaust, roll bar, and bumper attached, while the other is bare. Many parts are still on the original chrome-plated sprue inside a plastic bag. A separate sealed bag includes brass chassis components, gears, and hardware. Additionally, there are loose parts such as a partially assembled motor/chassis, four chrome wheels, and five foam tires that may be aged and brittle. Two original instruction sheets are present, albeit showing folds and age toning. A small decal sheet and a tube of Strombecker lubricant (likely dried) are also included.

After the auction you can checkout two ways: Pay the invoice via Live Auctioneers/Proxibid or pay via the Lodestar Auctions website. Credit card fees apply both ways. 2.9% & $0.30 (4.4% & $0.30 international) through Lodestar Auctions and 4-5% through Live Auctioneers/Proxibid . Lodestar Auctions collects 7% sales tax for Illinois residents only. Live Auctioneers/Proxibid collects sales tax for most states. Check with them for sales rates for your state. Any unpaid items will be automatically charged by Live Auctioneers/Proxibid three days after end of auction. At checkout pay for the item only, shipping will be billed later. See below for shipping options to choose at checkout.

Shipping:


Pick up and buyer arranged shipping is always welcome. We offer in-house shipping for items that can ship through common carrier. All items will be professionally packed at a reasonable rate. If you paid for the item via Lodestar Auctions or Proxibid we will have your items packaged and send you a link to choose and pay for shipping on the Lodestar Auctions Website.

**Important** Live Auctioneers has their own shipping program. We find it to be very expensive and slow. This is the rate you see advertised when bidding. We do not recommend using them. If you do use them you must checkout via Live Auctioneers and choose LiveShip at checkout. If you pay via Live Auctioneers and want our In-house shipping you must choose self-arranged shipping at checkout. If you checkout via Lodestar Auctions this does not apply. I apologize if this is confusing, Live Auctioneers purposely arranged it this way to push their own overpriced shipping service. We are not happy about this and are trying to make it work.


Issues:

All items sold as is. We do our best to describe accurately and take plenty of non-touched up photos to best represent the item. Any lost or damaged item due to shipping must go through the carriers. Buyer pays any return shipping costs regardless of situation.
