The series "A festure is exposed" comprises analogue films, photographs and objects, and explores the historical conditions of the medium of photography. The starting point is the 19th-century photographic posing apparatus, from which the performer in the film gradually breaks free through dance. By converting the analogue film frames into scans and transforming them into graphics, Manfredi explores the relationship between body, movement, space and time, whilst questioning both historical and contemporary possibilities for action within photography.

Die Werkserie "Eine Geste wird belichtet" umfasst analoge Filme, Fotografien und Objekte und setzt sich mit den historischen Bedingungen des Mediums Fotografie auseinander. Ausgangspunkt ist die fotografische Posevorrichtung des 19. Jahrhunderts, von der sich die Akteurin im Film schrittweise tanzend löst. Durch die Übertragung der analogen Filmkader in Scans und deren Überführung in Grafiken untersucht Manfredi das Verhältnis von Körper, Bewegung, Raum und Zeit und hinterfragt dabei historische wie gegenwärtige Handlungsmöglichkeiten der Fotografie.
