This collection of posters was collected by the vendor, a silkscreen printer in South London, at a Community Resource Centre and at a printing cooperative in Brixton, in 1970s and early 1980s.

In the late 1970s he worked with SWAPO of Namibia in Namibia and Zambia, and then in 1980, he worked with ZAPU in the Zimbabwean Independence Election. A number of the ZANU posters were collected from the ZANU print shop in Maputo during a visit in April 1980.
