Description

This collection of mid-20th-century Thai niello-ware jewelry includes pendant necklaces and an articulated link bracelet crafted from sterling silver. Each piece features a blackened niello finish decorated with engraved gold-tone mythological figures, likely depicting Mekkala and Ramasoon. The pendants are designed in oval, star-shaped, and teardrop forms with decorative openwork borders, while the bracelet comprises alternating shield and circular links. Markings on the reverse include an impressed SIAM STERLING and STERLING MADE IN SIAM. Weight: 67.81 grams
