M. Marini an extremely rare Italian White Marble Bust of a Young Woman, circa 1920.
The white marble bust of a young woman on a round marble top rests on an antique cast iron trumpet vase base is very fine quality, a masterpiece, museum type sculpture.
There is an ethereal feminine beauty to her, the headdress worn on this beautiful woman bust appears to be half laurel crown with one flower on each side adorns her hair, held in a loose bun. The young woman's face is full of grace while looking down in thought. Her check bones are softly round, her lips slightly pursed, and her eyes pupils enhanced hallowed out chiseled to perfection.
The portion of the bust allows a brilliant light to emanate from the face, revealing the fine features. There are many intricate details scroll design carved in the young woman's dress garment along the square neckline.

The sculpture is signed on the back of the bust M. Marini.
