This oil on canvas represents in a medallion a student of the Russian imperial army. It wears a navy blue knit with a sailor collar enhanced with a white stripe and fastened at the chest with a tied ribbon. His head posture is elevated. The expression on his face is gentle and his gaze is frank.
His age is in his teens.
On the right side is painted in red the imperial crown and the insignia of the Imperial Russian Navy
