Ingeborg Christensen was a Chicago area based artist of Danish descent, known mostly for portraiture and still-lives. Christensen is listed in Who Was Who in American Art. She studied under Pauline Palmer at the Art Institute of Chicago. She also held membership in the Chicago Art Club, the Chicago Painters Society, and the Chicago Galleries Association. She won a prize at the Institute in 1925. Her works were exhibited at the Chicago Exhibition of Scandinavian Artist in 1929.
