Two colorful boats along a peaceful shore adorn this charming oil on canvas painting. The frame is wood with a linen liner and gold border. Painter Dorothy Weinstein was born in the Ukraine and immigrated to the United States in the early part of the twentieth century. She graduated from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York and settled in South Bend, Indiana, later moving to Sarasota, Florida. This calm water scene is a lovely painting.
