About the artist:

Gustav Pynaert was born in Belgium in 1900. He started to draw and paint at an early age inspired by the French Impressionist artists. He later become known for his colorful landscapes of the Belgian and Dutch countryside. He traveled all over Europe to find subject for his paintings and drawings. The work of Gustav Pynaert is held in private collections worldwide.
