This 1974 ink on paper portrait of a woman is by Northern California artist Hugh Wiley (1922-2013). Wiley studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and in Mexico City under Carlos Merida. He showed at the NYC Bertha Schaeffer Gallery and taught art at California College of the Arts (formerly CCAC) from 1965-1984.
Estate stamped lower right.
The piece will be shipped in a mat to fit a standard sized frame.
