Originally announced by Infinity Firearms founder Sandy Strayer, the Elevated AIR was developed as a hybrid design focused on balancing lightweight construction with structural rigidity, durability, and performance. At the heart of the Elevated AIR is a billet aluminum lower and grip paired with S7 tool-steel rail inserts. This innovative combination provides a rigid and robust recoil track while allowing the overall pistol to remain exceptionally lightweight. The design takes advantage of aluminum's reduced weight while incorporating hardened tool steel in critical areas requiring additional strength and durability. The pistol features a 4.5-inch hybrid ported barrel utilizing a 2 Square V Port system. This performance-oriented barrel and porting configuration complements the Elevated AIR's lightweight construction and distinctive Infinity design. Visually, the Elevated AIR is immediately recognizable by its distinctive Camo Blast DLC finish extending across the slide, frame, and barrel. This unique treatment gives the pistol an unmistakable custom appearance and further highlights Infinity's precision machining. The pistol is equipped with an ambidextrous wide thumb safety, a left-side checkered aluminum magazine release, a small bronze aluminum magwell, and a flat medium trigger insert. Rather than utilizing traditional frame checkering, the Elevated AIR emphasizes a smooth, ergonomically contoured metal grip, contributing to its clean and distinctive appearance. Equipped with a Trijicon SRO optic, it is accompanied by its original Infinity factory case, extra parts, one .38/9 magazine, and original care and maintenance paperwork.
