Beautiful vintage majolica lambs, made in Portugal for Mottahedeh. These pieces were originally the tops of a pair of basket weave tureens produced for Mottahedeh, and now serve a purely decorative pieces. These tops are unmarked, as the Mottahedeh mark was on the tureen portion. These pieces are in wonderful used condition, with no chips, body cracks or fleabites. There are a few small cracks in the glaze, which add to the vintage character of the pieces.
