These giraffes have had one owner for at least the past 40 to 50 years. I am unsure of the exact age of these, I've heard differentiating reports, so we'll say 1960's -1970's. These giraffes are in great shape, patina is natural and consistent with age, The taller one stands at 31.75 (as pictured) and the short of the two is 26, also pictured," foot to tips of ears. The only flaw with these statues is that the ears are loose, so I would suggest never ever picking them up or moving them by the ears.

Condition Notes: Patina and wear are consistent with their age in brass. The smaller one still wears a plastic tag around its neck, no one has cut it off for 40+ years. The only real issue is the looseness of the screw-in ears. They never seem to get tighter either, like the screw is stripped on the inside, if that's even how they're attached. The ears are the only issue physically and visually.
